Many of today’s politicians have lost sight of the fact that individuals and families are in the best position to make the decisions for themselves and their children about health, religion, education, jobs, and personal welfare. These choices should not be commandeered by the government. The prosperity of our citizens and county is best served by economic freedom, private property rights, and the rule of law. The purpose of government is to secure and protect our rights and freedoms — not take them away. It is imperative that our government be fiscally responsible and live within its means. When important decisions need to be made about governmental action, those decisions should include the voice of the citizenry as a whole, not a select few elected officials.
My name is Shane Stolarczyk, and I believe these are the fundamental principles in which we must remain resolute in order to ensure Kendall County remains one of the best places to live, raise a family, and retire. These core conservative principles will serve as my compass as County Judge, representing the direction on which we shall stay focused during these tumultuous times. I believe that my experience as a military officer, seasoned lawyer, small business owner, rural landowner, and most importantly, a husband and father to two young children, will allow me to hit the ground running on Day One as County Judge to protect and defend what makes Kendall County great.
